Close To My Heart: Sawyer Collection Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog Hop

A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Sawyer Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Danielle Edwards – Scrappy Chicks then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

So I think my favourite pattern in this collection is the random abstract flowers print. So I had to use that one first.

So I choose a pattern that allow you to see mot of that pattern & added a zip strip & the Mint pattern paper. I used one of my inner inverted scallop circle from the Circle Windows Slimline Thin Cuts – you get three of these each time you use this die so why not use them! I stamped one of the Meowgical Caticorns & coloured in with the TriBlendโ„ข Markers that matched the colours in the pattern paper

For my next idea I really wanted to use the banner pattern paper. So of course I turned it into a birthday card.

I stamped the Happy Cake Day in a variety of coloured inks & stamped Happy Cake Day over it. This was cut our using the Circle Shaker Window Thin Cuts. I cut out a banner from the Harbour pattern paper to tie with Harbour mat.

Both cards were fun to create & I used some nice simple designs that really do show off the pattern paper. I hope you enjoyed what I created.
